3001, a Northrop Grumman company, is a leading provider of geospatial data production and analysis, including airborne imaging, surveying, mapping, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). 3001's products and services are used for domestic and international civilian, defense, and intelligence initiatives, to develop and maintain public and private sector infrastructure, and to better understand the land and its resources.
The Leica Geosystems ALS40 SH52 is a high resolution, fringe-free color and color infrared airborne imaging sensor.
Z/I Imaging® DMC® (Digital Mapping Camera) is the industry's most innovative and precise turnkey digital camera system. The DMC supports aerial photogrammetric missions for the broadest range of mapping, geographic information systems (GIS), and remote sensing applications.
The Leica ALS50-II is a compact, airborne LiDAR system designed to acquire topographical and return signal intensity data from numerous airborne platforms. The system computes this data using laser range and return signal intensity measurements which are recorded in-flight, along with position and attitude data taken from airborne GPS and inertial subsystems.
The RC30 is a frame-based film camera system capable of acquiring photographs with black and white, color, and false color aerial film. It has two interchangeable lenses, negligible distortion, and reach lens/film resolutions more than 100 lp/mm. The aperture can be set up to f/4, with shutter speeds ranging from 1/100 to 1/1,000 second for maximum applicability.
The ALTM 3100EA (Enhanced Accuracy) provides 3001 with one of the most advanced airborne laser scanning systems commercially available. The ALTM 3100EA features include a shot-to-shot elevation accuracy of better than 5 cm, pulse repetition rates as high as 100 kHz, multiple digital imaging applications, platform independent operation, and adjustable scan angle, scan frequency, and pulse repetition frequency.
The Gemini is the most recent addition to the 3001 Topographic LiDAR sensor family, complimenting the Airborne Laser Terrain Mapper (ALTM) 3100EA (Enhanced Accuracy). While maintaining the full performance characteristics of the ALTM 3100EA, the ALTM Gemini offers higher altitude operation at peak repetition rates. Now a user can operate 100 kHz laser rep rates at altitudes up to 2 km. This greatly improves the survey efficiency of the ALTM by more than doubling the area coverage rate.
