ImageSat International N.V.
The company is the owner and operator of the EROS-A and EROS-B high/very high resolution earth observation optical satellites.A wide variety of services is offered by the company: Integration of imaging sensors, Interpretation and analysis of imagery, Photogrammetry and mapping, Training in geospatial intelligence topics, Establishment of imaging satellites ground stations.
Since it was established in 1997, the company has gained extensive operational experience in the fields
of Defense & Intelligence, Maritime Surveillance, Oil & Gas, Urban Development, Environmental
Monitoring, Agriculture and Forestry, Disaster Control and others. ImageSat International serves a global
customer base, comprised of governments and international agencies as well as local companies, and
has acquired expertise as a provider of unique, customer-tailored solutions.
Imagery Analysis: the Art of Turning Pixels into Knowledge
Looking at the earth from 520 km up in space gives a completely different perspective to objects we are used to see from the ground. Imagery analysts are trained to see such objects from above, to use different software tools and interpretation methods to extract valuable information from the objects as seen on the images, to analyse these objects in their context and turn them into meaningful and useful knowledge.
Digital or Printed, Always Accurate
ImageSat aims to provide a variety of solutions to its customers and in addition to satellite images, we also produce mapping products created from EROS images.
Advanced Applications: Multiple overlapping EROS-B Images
A Multiple Image is comprised of more than two overlapping EROS-B Basic Images of the same scene, acquired at the same pass.
The technical specifications of each single image are identical to the specifications of the Basic Image Product .
However, the length of the images is limited in order to allow the scanning of all overlapping images in the same pass.
Multiple Images can be used for advanced applications, for example change detection, as shown in the images below. The different colors show the movement of the same vessel.
More than just Imagery
ImageSat photogrammetry experts are available to provide customers with the experience and specialty of photogrammetry services.
If you require information based on photogrammetric data, please consult us so we can provide you with a solution that is tailored for your requirements.
DEM Production and 3D Viewing: Two Overlapping EROS-B Images
A Stereo image is comprised of two overlapping EROS-B Basic Images of the same scene, which are acquired during the same satellite pass. The images are acquired at symmetric off-nadir angles (before and after) , so that the absolute sum of the two off-nadir angles is 50°.
The technical specifications of each single image are identical to the specification of the Basic Image. However, the length of the images is limited in order to allow scanning of two overlapping images during the same pass.
The Stereo Image may be used for DEM Production and for 3D viewing when combined with designated software. ImageSat also can accommodate a ready made DEM product based on a Stereo Image per specific order of the customer.
ImageSat offers advanced solutions for customers who are interested in long term services.
Usually implemented by governments and military units, the premium services provide the customer flexibility, autonomy and secrecy.
A Quality Solution for Various Monitoring and Identification Needs
VHR imagery allows quality monitoring and identification. Any scenery, whether natural or man made may be examined and identified. Amongst its many advantages, VHR imagery allows identification of specific models of vehicles, vessels and airplanes, making the EROS images a powerful solution for civilian and military needs alike.
